I'm Sandra, a curious mind expressing myself through painting, sculpture, and photography.

Sandra Albers is a Brazilian-born artist based in the United States, where she has lived for nearly a decade. She studied at the Art Students League of New York under the guidance of renowned painter Sharon Sprung. Transitioning from a background in banking and technology, Sandra found her true calling in the visual arts.

Her work explores themes of identity, strength, and presence, often through expressive portraits and figurative compositions in oil and acrylic. Sandra is also a former professional volleyball player and continues to compete nationally as a master athlete.

Recent projects include commissioned portraits such as Ruth Bader Ginsburg, illustrations for the 2024 Olympics, and medical illustrations for publication. Sandra’s work reflects her unique blend of discipline, creativity, and a deep appreciation for the power of visual storytelling.
